ANDOVER PLANNING COMMISSION

SUBDIVISION COMMITTEE

April 9, 2002

Minutes

 

The Subdivision Committee of the Andover Planning Commission was called to order by Chairman Lynn Heath at 5:40 p.m. on April 09, 2002.  The other member present was Ron Roberts.  Dave Martine was absent.  Also present were Zoning Administrator, Les Mangus, City Clerk/Administrator, Jeff Bridges, and Administrative Secretary Wilma Stoltz.

Call to order.

 

 

Motion to approve the minutes of the December 11, 2001.  Subdivision Committee meeting as presented was made by Lynn Heath.  Ron Roberts abstained since he was not at the December meeting.

Review the revised Final PUD Plan of the Tuscany Addition Phase 2.   Kenny Hill from Poe and Associates presented information on behalf of the developer.  Mr. Hill said they would increase the lots by 5% from 83 lots to 87 in the whole Parcel 2.  Mr. Hill said the pool in Phase 2 was deleted, as there was a pool built in Phase 4.  Mr. Hill said there would be an 8-foot sidewalk on Vintage Dr. and 5 foot on Tuscany Dr.  Mr. Hill explained the open space difference for Phase 2. 

 

Ron Roberts asked Mr. Hill what the average lot size was.  Mr. Hill said the average size was around 11, 000 square feet.

 

Motion was made by Lynn Heath to recommend approval to the Planning Commission of the Final PUD Plan of the Tuscany Addition Phase 2 with the following conditions:

 

1.     3b.   Add 70' Collector Street with 37-foot pavement.

2        7.   Add 8' sidewalk on Vintage Drive and 5'

               sidewalk on Tuscany Drive .

3.     20.   The pool was deleted as it was constructed                            adjacent to Phase 2.

4.         21.   Increase in total number of lots from 83 to 87. 

5.         22. Amount of common open space will be the same                   on Phase 2 as it was on Phase 1.

Motion was seconded by Ron Roberts.  Motion carried 2-0.

Review the revised Final PUD Plan of the Tuscany Addition Phase 2.
