Testimonial from Andover resident:

"Andover now has 13th Street Sports Park, a beautiful public library, and is still a fantastic place to live and for my child to grow up. He’ll have access to a great public school with faculty that has a sincere interest in cultivating curiosity and wonder in his mind. These things do not happen organically; Andover has very purposefully been working at this for decades. When it comes down to it, Andover is home to me because the city has created a vision of a good life that is consistent with mine."

FAQ about the Love, Kansas campaign:

Who are we hoping to engage with in this campaign?
Love, Kansas, celebrates the best of The Sunflower State by encouraging university and technical college students, young professionals, families, and anyone seeking a change of pace to take a new look at Kansas.

Why? What is the goal here?
Our economy is booming! Now we are looking to strengthen our workforce to grow along with it. We are primarily looking to encourage those who used to live here to come back to Kansas, or a group of people we call boomerangs. Additionally, we are looking to engage with in-state higher education students to begin and further their careers in Kansas.

Who is running this campaign?
Love, Kansas is an initiative operated by the Kansas Department of Commerce, the state’s economic development organization, in partnership with Kansas Tourism, which actively work to build Kansas as a top destination for non-resident travelers, unify and lead industry partners and inspire in-state advocacy and pride.

As a professional talent attraction initiative, Love, Kansas provides insights into the state’s abundant careers and expanding industries. Engaged in partnerships with corporations, academia and career placement agencies, the Love, Kansas campaign makes it easier to say ‘yes’ to Kansas’ proposal of a more fulfilling lifestyle.
